World War I Weapon Presented To OMTA By Doyle Ramsey


Doyle Ramsey presented the Mobeetie Jail Museum with a Colt 45 automatic pistol his father carried in World War I in France. He related that his father and others had been in the trenches 21 days and he was grazed one time by a bullet. He killed six Germans with the pistol during that skirmish.

The weapon was accepted for the museum by OMTA president Joe Van Zandt.
